350 Blocks Project: November Report

I can't believe the year is almost over already!  It's amazing how quickly the time goes.  For November, I pulled out an old mystery quilt that has sat neglected for three years.  This quilt is Easy Street by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville.  She ran it as a free mystery on her blog in 2012.  The pattern can be found in her book More Adventures with Leaders and Enders.

When I pulled this out of hiding, most of the units were already done.  I made a couple of changes, so I spent the beginning of them month finishing up the last few units that I needed before I could assemble the quilt.  Most of the month was spent assembling the units into blocks.

First, I made the four corner triangles.

Next, I made the 12 setting triangles.

Then I made the 16 main blocks.

Finally, I assembled the 9 alternate blocks.  Full disclosure - I actually wrapped up a few of these today, but it's easier to keep count if I include them in November.

All told, that's 41 blocks last month.  That puts me at 1085 blocks so far this year.  I'm really excited to be making progress on this quilt after so much time.  My goal for December is to get the top put together, and to piece a backing from the leftover fabrics.
